CarScreen help

Start with the steps below. If something still fails, write to support@highroadsoftware.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, the screen you use and the diagnostic report from Screen → Playback help. Do not send private links or passwords.

Test picture and sound

Open the Screen tab, pick your TV or car display with the AirPlay button, then tap Test picture and sound. When you see the image and hear the tone, tap "I see and hear it".

Sound but no picture

Sound alone means the receiver accepted audio only. Check that the TV or car supports AirPlay video, then try the test clip again. Some cars allow video only while parked.

A link or playlist will not open

Use an HTTPS address without a username or password inside it. If a playlist opens but an entry fails, the provider may have changed or expired the link; refresh the source in Settings.

Photos do not appear on the TV

Photos need an HDMI adapter or Screen Mirroring. AirPlay alone carries video, not still photos.

The daily big-screen time ended

Free use includes 15 minutes per day on external screens. It renews at midnight. Playback on the iPhone stays unlimited. CarScreen Pro removes the limit.

A library cannot be opened

Do not delete or reinstall the app: imported files are excluded from backup. Stop importing and contact support with the diagnostic report, without sharing links or passwords. A failed library open preserves the existing encrypted index.

Restore a purchase

Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account used to buy. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
