Website audience measurement

Updated 18 October 2026. Controller: COBI Management SRL, Rue Haut Chemin 8, 1370 Jodoigne, Belgium. Contact: privacy@highroadsoftware.com.

Your choice

Audience measurement is optional and starts only after you choose “Allow statistics”. Declining leaves the website available. You can change your choice using the audience button at the bottom of each instrumented page. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable optional collection.

What we count

We count a page view when an instrumented canonical page becomes visible after consent. We count a visit as a browser session with less than 30 minutes of inactivity, and separately count clicks to the App Store, Google Play, TestFlight or a downloadable installer. These clicks do not prove an installation, purchase or revenue. Visits from people who decline or block measurement are not included, and sessions do not identify unique people.

Each record contains the registered page path, event type, server time, a broad referral category such as Google or X, an explicitly registered campaign identifier where present, and an ephemeral random session identifier stored as a keyed hash. We do not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, full referrer URL, arbitrary query strings, names, email addresses, form contents or generated content in these measurement records. No advertising or third-party analytics provider receives them.

Cookies and retention

The first-party hrs_metrics_choice cookie stores “allow” or “deny” for up to 180 days, solely to remember this choice. After consent, the secure HttpOnly hrs_visit cookie groups events until 30 minutes of inactivity. It is not available to page scripts. Withdrawing consent stops collection and removes that session cookie. Earlier lawful records expire within 30 days. The database is kept outside the public website directory on our existing hosting; reports are private. Normal hosting access/security logs remain subject to our general privacy policy.

Limits and controls

Known automated user agents and explicit QA events are excluded from organic visit reports. Automated traffic cannot be identified perfectly. Reports label consented visits, page views, source categories, Store clicks and test events separately. A blocked request or missing collection period is not reported as zero visits.

The legal basis for optional audience measurement is your consent. You may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing, request applicable data rights, or complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. The random session cookie is not linked to a customer account. For other website and product processing, read our general privacy policy.
