Roundtable AI · Private beta

Privacy and model connections

How Roundtable stores sessions and sends model requests.

Sessions on your Mac

The app stores discussions, sources, Simulation worlds, branches and settings on your Mac. Local GGUF inference runs on the device. We do not operate a server that receives these sessions, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDK.

Optional model providers

When you select OpenRouter, your request goes to OpenRouter and the selected provider. It may include the question, discussion history, source excerpts and the acting persona’s context. Their privacy policies govern processing and retention. Ollama requests go to the endpoint you configure; a remote endpoint sends data outside your Mac.

Credentials and deletion

OpenRouter credentials are held in the macOS Keychain and used to authenticate requests. Delete sessions in the app or remove its local data folder. Uninstalling the app alone may leave data and Keychain entries behind. Exports and backups are separate copies that you manage.

Beta requests and purchases

If you email us for beta access or support, we receive your email address and message. We use them to answer the request and manage access; they are not added to a marketing list automatically. Messages are retained as needed for this purpose and legal obligations. Apple handles transactions and diagnostics for copies obtained through Apple. A separately offered direct licence may use Lemon Squeezy; the payment service handles its own transaction data.

Your choices and rights

For personal data held in correspondence, you can request access, correction or deletion at privacy@highroadsoftware.com. You may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Provider-held data must be addressed with that provider. This page is updated when the app’s data handling changes.
