Pasly for Mac
Pasly support
Start with the steps below. If something still fails, send the macOS version, Pasly version and a short description to support@highroadsoftware.com. Do not include private clipboard contents.
Start clipboard history
Open Pasly, choose Resume Capture, read the explanation and select Enable Capture. Copy harmless text in another app, then return to Pasly.
Find and paste a saved copy
Search for a word, select the result and choose Copy. Switch to the destination and press Command-V. Use the plain-text action if you do not want the original formatting.
Import a photo
Use the Photos picker and select an image, or import an image file. An iCloud original may need an Internet connection. Image imports are limited to 50 MB or 80 megapixels.
A file cannot be copied
Check that the original still exists and is accessible. Copy it again from Finder to renew Pasly’s file reference. Deleting a history entry does not delete the original.
Clear saved history
Open Settings and choose Delete All History, then confirm. Capture pauses and saved copies, the search index and current-session caches are cleared. Original files and the system clipboard are left alone.
Move from a direct edition
The Store edition uses its own sandbox container. History from an older direct edition is not migrated or deleted automatically. Clear that history in the original edition if you no longer need it.
