What Pasly stores
Pasly is published by COBI Management SRL. After you enable capture, saved copies may contain text, links, images, file references, dates and source-app names or identifiers. Preferences, favorites and imported images are stored locally. File references can include read-only security-scoped bookmarks. The basket lasts for the session.
Your choice to capture
Capture starts paused. You can pause it again, exclude apps and choose whether to retain content detected as sensitive. Known password managers are excluded by default. Confidential and transient pasteboard markers are ignored. These protections are imperfect: pause capture before copying secrets.
Storage and deletion
History and its search index have no application-level encryption. Hidden previews are not encryption. Delete individual items or choose Delete All History in Settings. The latter pauses capture, removes saved copies and the index, clears the basket and current-process preview and drag caches. It does not delete originals, your system clipboard, other apps’ copies or backups. Forensic erasure from storage, snapshots or backups is not guaranteed.
Photos and temporary files
The Apple Photos picker supplies only images you select; it may download iCloud originals under Apple’s privacy policy. Pasly does not enumerate or edit your photo library. Image imports create local copies; file references still need their originals. Image-drag files are removed on normal exit or when clearing history. A crash can leave temporary files until the OS removes them.
Limits and older editions
History stops accepting additions at 1,500 items or 256 MB of encoded copies. Capture is limited to 16 MB per copy; image import to 50 MB or 80 megapixels. Pasly does not automatically purge older items. An older direct edition uses different storage; its history is not automatically migrated or erased by the Store edition.
No account or tracking
Pasly has no account, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK and does not upload clipboard history to HighRoad Software. Feedback created in Pasly is stored locally, not sent automatically. Apple provides App Store and TestFlight services under its own policies.
