Changelog / dated work

What changed, and what did not.

A changelog is useful when it distinguishes a shipped behavior from a design intention and a local test from a device result.

The short answer

Dates before adjectives.

Each entry carries a scope and an evidence level. “Built” is not the same as “observed in production.”

28.09

Free offline model and exact Pro scope

The free tier now includes an offline Whisper model (Small, or Base on older devices) alongside Apple Speech. Pro unlocks exactly Whisper Large v3 Turbo, Parakeet v3 and neural speaker separation. Three Pro products are configured in App Store Connect and are not yet on sale.

15.09

StoreKit offer deferred

Removed the premature purchase surface and product identifiers: no paid capability had an enforced entitlement boundary. A future offer requires tested gates and signed-device StoreKit evidence.

14.09

Capture segmentation by moment

Notebook projection now groups the stream into moments, with reversible merge and split editing. Promotion re-runs diarization and extraction for a moment. Whole-conversation re-diarization remains partial.

13.09

Graphite and mineral signal

Moved the visual system to a cool near-neutral ground, one restrained mineral opening field and red only for recording actions. Removed decorative provenance chrome, gradients outside the opening field and model-name exposure from routine capture UI.

11.09

Two capture postures

Replaced the five-mode capture picker with Notebook as a state and Session as a deliberate act. Added promotion of a live or recent Notebook span into a Session, with real 24-hour Notebook audio retention semantics.

How to read this page

No silent green.

Built means the code and local evidence exist. Partial means the shape is present but a documented gap remains. NOT TESTED means the evidence is not available yet.

The site follows the same vocabulary as the product evidence record. That is deliberate: a public explanation should not be more confident than the system it describes.

What is new? The dated entries below separate implemented behavior from unfinished validation, so readers can see what changed without inferring a broader release claim.
