Use “HyperCam Trigger by HighRoad Software” on first reference. It avoids confusion with older screen-recording and astronomy products that also use the word HyperCam.

- iPhone on iOS 17 or later. Locked Camera Capture requires iOS 18.

- In physical-device release validation. The public App Store listing is not live.

- Not announced. Repository StoreKit values are development configuration, not a public offer.

- No HighRoad account, advertising SDK or third-party analytics SDK in the current build.

Why it is different
Not another filter camera.
HyperCam is built around the moment before the photo: choosing the event that should ask the iPhone camera to capture.
Native ways in
Widgets, App Intents, Shortcuts, Control Center, Action Button and an iOS 18 locked-camera extension shorten the path to capture where supported.
A private default
Trigger analysis, captures and the internal gallery stay on the iPhone unless the user deliberately exports or invokes a configured cloud action.
Measured limitations
Camera readiness, device capability and conditions matter. The app does not promise that every event becomes a photograph.

These images originate from current physical-iPhone captures and project compositions. They are not AI-generated. They may be used for editorial coverage of HyperCam Trigger with credit to HighRoad Software; please do not present them as final App Store screenshots.

What HyperCam does not claim.
A useful review should test the boundaries as hard as the headline feature.
- It captures with the iPhone; it does not currently fire an external DSLR or mirrorless camera.
- It is not a background surveillance or security-camera product.
- Detection does not guarantee a completed capture or exact event timing.
- Advanced formats and boosts depend on the target iPhone and final Free/Pro configuration.
- No scientific paper cited by HighRoad evaluated or validated HyperCam Trigger.

Use the same test twice.

Reviewer access
Test the build, not the pitch.
