What Flightloom can—and cannot—do.

These answers reflect version 1.0.0 and were reviewed against the release materials on 6 September 2026.

What works without internet?

The bundled world map, country information and saved flight log. Live values depend on available iPhone sensors and a usable satellite fix.

Will GPS work in every seat?

No. Aircraft structure, seat position and the device affect reception. A window seat may help, but it is no guarantee.

Is this a pilot navigation tool?

No. Flightloom is designed for passengers and personal memories. It is not certified flight instrumentation.

Where do recorded routes go?

They stay on the device. GPX and CSV leave the app only when you choose to export or share them.

Does Flightloom require an account?

No. Version 1.0 has no account, advertising or third-party tracking SDK.

How much will it cost?

USD 0.99 as a one-time paid download, with Apple showing the regional equivalent. The listing is not public yet.
