Before you board.
Why is there no GPS position?
Satellite signals can be blocked by the cabin. Reception depends on the aircraft, seat and device. Allow location access and give the phone time to acquire a fix where permitted. Follow crew instructions. A window seat may help, but Flightloom cannot guarantee a fix.
What works without internet?
The bundled world map, country information and saved log work offline. Live position and instrument values still require usable device sensor readings.
How do I export a route?
Open a recorded flight in the log and use its export option for GPX or CSV. Choose a trusted destination because these files contain location and time information.
Is Flightloom aviation equipment?
No. It is a passenger companion and personal notebook. Never use it to navigate or operate an aircraft.
