Choose by workflow
All three address the lost-copy problem: you copied a link, then an image, and now need the link again. Paste combines history, search and pinboards with device sync. Maccy offers keyboard-first retrieval without a broad workspace. Pasly combines local search, favorites, previews and a temporary basket for collecting a session's material. Choose an available competitor if you need a working app today; evaluate Pasly when its distribution is confirmed.

Platforms and limits
Pasly targets Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later. Its Store edition copies an item for manual Command-V pasting; automatic pasting from a direct edition requires Accessibility permission. Capture starts paused and requires consent. The local database is not encrypted by the app: sensitive-content masking is not encryption. Maccy requires macOS 14 or later and stores history on the computer. Paste is offered for Mac, iPhone and iPad; sync is an intentional cross-device feature rather than evidence of a privacy weakness.
Pricing checked · 2026-10-14
Paste's official Personal page displayed USD 29.99 billed annually (USD 2.49 monthly equivalent), excluding tax, plus monthly and lifetime options and a seven-day trial. Maccy describes its open-source app as free; the App Store distribution may have a separate price, which was not verified. Pasly has no announced public price or verified download. Prices depend on region and purchase channel.
