Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
LumenForge is a macOS application developed and published by Highroad Software. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@highroadsoftware.com.
2. Data we collect
No creative content or in-app analytics.
If you contact support or submit feedback, we receive the information you choose to send. TestFlight testing may provide crash logs, usage information and feedback through Apple, as described in section 5.
HighRoad does not collect, sell, share, or receive your prompts, model files, generated media, or project data for generation. The app has no behavioural analytics, advertising or tracking SDK. You can select existing compatible model files or explicitly download model weights through the app.
3. Data stored locally on your device
LumenForge stores your creative workspace data locally on your Mac:
- Preferences and projects – your selected model and output folders, generation parameters, UI settings and project settings.
- Generation history – prompts, seeds, settings and references to your locally generated media.
- Model weights and output – files in the folders you select, with optional upscaler and depth weights in the app's local cache.
- Security-scoped bookmarks – macOS security tokens that let the app access the folders you have selected without asking again each launch. These are stored locally and never transmitted.
You control your selected folders and exported files. Removing the app does not automatically remove files from folders you selected. Local app data and your selected model/output folders must be managed separately.
4. AI model files
LumenForge does not bundle the generation model weights. You can use compatible files you already have or explicitly download a starter model. These files are read locally and are not uploaded to or accessed by Highroad Software. Each model remains subject to its publisher's licence.
5. Network activity
Generation runs on your Mac. Prompts and generated media are not sent to HighRoad for generation. User-requested downloads contact Hugging Face, GitHub, or opt-in Civitai; those hosts receive normal network requests. Purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit services, and TestFlight may send diagnostics to Apple.
6. Third-party SDKs and frameworks
LumenForge does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It uses open-source native machine learning libraries (stable-diffusion.cpp, MLX and llama.cpp) bundled inside the app — these libraries run entirely locally and do not contact any remote service.
7. Children
LumenForge is a creative tool for its age-rated audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes to local processing, downloads or third-party services will be reflected in this policy.
