The following information is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's
UserDefaults framework and never transmitted anywhere:

To remove this data: open Cat Fidget → Settings → Start Over, or simply delete the app from your Mac.
Cat Fidget runs in Apple's macOS sandbox with no network entitlement. The app is technically incapable of making outbound network connections. This can be independently verified using macOS tools such as Little Snitch or Console.app.
The only permission Cat Fidget may request is the standard macOS notification permission. This is optional: you can decline it and the app continues to work normally — you simply won't see notifications when your cat needs attention.
Cat Fidget does not request standing access to: camera, microphone, your Photos library, contacts, calendar, location, accessibility, screen recording, or any other sensitive resource. (The optional Custom Photo Pet uses a one-time file picker you choose — the selected image is processed on-device and never leaves your Mac.)
Cat Fidget is planned as a free download on the Mac App Store. It offers optional cosmetic in-app purchases — extra cat breeds, wardrobe accessories, themed outfit bundles, and a one-time Cat Lover Pass — all as non-consumable, one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions and no advertising. All payments are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details, and purchasing a cosmetic collects no personal data on our end.

Cat Fidget is designed for a 4+ App Store rating. The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no chat features, no user-generated content, and no advertising. Every in-app purchase is an optional, decorative cosmetic, protected behind the standard App Store purchase prompt — parents can use Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy settings to control or block them entirely. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Because Cat Fidget collects no personal data, there is no data subject record to access, correct, delete, or export. You retain all rights under the EU GDPR (Articles 15–22) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you believe we hold data about you, contact privacy@highroadsoftware.com and we'll confirm in writing that no such data exists.
