These terms govern your use of the Cat Fidget macOS application ("the App") published by HighRoad Software, a trading name of COBI Management SRL ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the App.
Once purchased from the Mac App Store, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's usage rules and Family Sharing rules.
Cat Fidget is planned as a free download on the Mac App Store with no subscriptions and no advertising. The free app includes every gameplay feature described on its product page — all behaviors, both care modes, the Classic Black cat, and the Custom Photo Pet.
Optional cosmetic in-app purchases — extra cat breeds, wardrobe accessories, themed outfit bundles, and the Cat Lover Pass — are available as one-time, non-consumable purchases. They are purely decorative, never required to use the app, and are tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore them on any Mac you own and share them through Family Sharing. All purchases are processed by Apple.
We may provide free updates to the App from time to time, at our discretion. Updates may include new features, bug fixes, or compatibility changes. We are not obligated to provide any specific feature, fix, or compatibility window.

The App — including its source code, design, character art, sprites, sound effects, name, and logo — is the property of HighRoad Software and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
Cat Fidget is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every macOS configuration.
Cat Fidget is a desktop companion / entertainment app. It is not a medical device, a productivity tool, or a safety-critical system. Do not rely on it for any important purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HighRoad Software, COBI Management SRL, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. Where law forbids these exclusions, they will not apply to you.
App Store purchases are processed by Apple. We are not the merchant of record. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple's published refund policy.
You and we acknowledge that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, and Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The short version: we collect no data.
You may terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies.
We may update these terms when we ship a new version of the App or when the law requires it. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the judicial district of Brabant Wallon, Belgium, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that grant you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the EU member state where you reside.
