1. Controller and contact
TELL is developed by HighRoad Software, a trading name of COBI Management SRL (enterprise number BE 0676.613.701), Rue Haut Chemin 8, 1370 Jodoigne, Belgium. Contact privacy@highroadsoftware.com with privacy questions.
2. Data collection and transmission
TELL does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. It has no sign-in, account, analytics, advertising, tracking, cloud-upload or third-party data-collection service. The App Store privacy label for TELL is Data Not Collected.
3. Nearby connection
The paired flow uses Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi to connect two nearby iPhones. The connection is for the local session. TELL does not require an internet connection to pair and does not use the connection to upload recordings or profile either person.
4. Camera, microphone and consent
TELL asks for camera and microphone access only when a person chooses the optional recording feature. Before recording starts, the people in the session must explicitly agree. Do not record another person without their knowledge and permission.
5. Local recordings and app data
A recorded answer and TELL’s local library remain on the iPhone that created the recording. TELL does not maintain a server copy. Device backups, sharing choices, or services enabled independently by the device owner may create copies outside TELL’s control.
6. Purchases
TELL includes 50 free prompts. TELL+ is an optional Apple subscription that unlocks 30 additional prompts at USD 4.99 monthly or USD 34.99 annually, subject to Apple’s regional pricing. Apple processes purchases under Apple’s Privacy Policy; HighRoad Software does not receive payment-card details.
7. Deletion
Delete recordings from TELL’s local library or remove the app and its local data from the iPhone. Because HighRoad Software receives no TELL account or recording data, there is no TELL server account to delete. Local copies in a device owner’s backups are controlled by that owner and backup provider.
8. Website and support
This product website does not use advertising or behavioural analytics. Hosting may create short-lived security and delivery logs as described in the HighRoad Software portfolio policy. If you email support, we use your message and reply details to answer the request.
9. Changes
If a future TELL release introduces a material data flow, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before that release.
