With your permission, Nomii reads the following Apple Health data to drive your pet's wellbeing stats. Granting access is optional — the app works without it.

This data stays on your device. It is processed locally and never transmitted to any server, third party, or cloud service. Nomii never writes data back to Apple Health.
HealthKit data is used only for app functionality. It is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, or shared with any party — ever.
If you use the Photo Pet feature, Nomii may request access to your camera or photo library to create a custom pixel-art sprite from an image. This processing happens entirely on-device using Apple's Vision and Core Image frameworks. No image or photo data is transmitted to any server.
All app data is saved on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
If iCloud is enabled on your device, some of this data may sync across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your conversations with your pet are handled in one of two ways depending on your device:
Chat history is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to any external AI service. The app does not use ChatGPT, OpenAI, or any external AI API for chat.
Nomii uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand app reliability — for example, how often crashes occur or which features are used most. TelemetryDeck is designed to not collect personally identifiable information:

Subscriptions and consumable purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status on our end. RevenueCat receives anonymized transaction data from Apple — no personal identifiers. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Nomii's reminders and alerts are local notifications scheduled on-device. They do not involve any external server. You can enable or disable them at any time in Settings → Notifications, or in iOS Settings.
Nomii does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. No accounts are required, no email addresses are collected, and no data is transmitted that could identify a child. The app complies with applicable children's privacy regulations.
Because data is stored locally, you are always in control:

No advertising networks, data brokers, or social media trackers are included in the app.
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Nomii after changes means you accept the revised policy. For significant changes, we may also show an in-app notice.
