Privacy Policy

LumenForge — Highroad Software — Last updated: April 2026

Short version: LumenForge processes everything on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. No accounts. No telemetry. No internet required.

1. Who we are

LumenForge is a macOS application developed and published by Highroad Software. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@highroadsoftware.com.

2. Data we collect

None.

LumenForge does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting, no remote logging, and no telemetry of any kind. No data ever leaves your device.

3. Data stored locally on your device

LumenForge stores the following data only on your Mac, never transmitted anywhere:

App preferences – your chosen model directory, output directory, generation parameters, and UI settings, stored in ~/Library/Application Support/LumenForge/.
Generation history – paths to images you have generated, stored locally in the same application support directory.
Recent prompts – the last 20 text prompts you entered, stored locally.
Security-scoped bookmarks – macOS security tokens that let the app access the folders you have selected without asking again each launch. These are stored locally and never transmitted.

You can delete all of this data at any time by removing the ~/Library/Application Support/LumenForge/ folder.

4. AI model files

LumenForge does not bundle AI model weights. You supply your own model files and point the app to their location on your Mac. These files are read locally; they are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessed by Highroad Software.

5. Network activity

All communication inside LumenForge is between the Swift front-end and a local Python process running on your Mac, using the loopback address 127.0.0.1 only. No data packets leave your computer. The app does not make any outbound connections to external servers, APIs, or third-party services.

6. Third-party SDKs and frameworks

LumenForge does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It uses open-source machine learning libraries (PyTorch, MLX, etc.) bundled inside the app — these libraries run entirely locally and do not contact any remote service.

7. Children

LumenForge is rated 17+ and is not directed at children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Because we collect no data, there is nothing material to change in practice.
