Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
COBI Management SRL, trading as HighRoad Software, Rue Haut Chemin 8, 1370 Jodoigne, Belgium, is the data controller for information it receives. Contact privacy@highroadsoftware.com.
2. Data stored on your device
DressGenius stores wardrobe items, photos, outfits, wear history, plans, feedback, preferences, style-profile information, optional measurements, and app settings in local files and a local database. The current build has no DressGenius account and no HighRoad-operated cloud sync. You can edit or delete individual records in the app and remove remaining local data by deleting the app, subject to your own device backups.
3. On-device analysis
Bundled TensorFlow Lite models, Apple Vision features, colour analysis, and the outfit-scoring engine run on the device. Garment photos and free-text notes are not sent to HighRoad for model inference. DressGenius does not provide generative virtual try-on.
4. Optional weather
If you enable weather context, the app may use coarse location or a place you enter to request a forecast from Apple WeatherKit or, where configured, the MET Norway weather service. Those providers receive the network information inherent in the request, including IP address, and the approximate place needed for the forecast under their own policies. Precise location is not needed for wardrobe analysis; you can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings and enter a place manually where available.
5. Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product and entitlement status, purchase history, and technical transaction information to keep access in sync and support restore purchases. HighRoad does not receive your payment-card number. Purchase records may be retained for entitlement, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.
6. Optional diagnostics
If you explicitly opt in, Sentry may receive crash, performance, device, operating-system, and app-version diagnostics. DressGenius is configured to scrub wardrobe photos and free-text content from diagnostic reports. You can refuse or withdraw this choice in the app. The current build does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or behavioural advertising.
7. Permissions
- Photos or camera: only when you choose a garment image or take one.
- Location: optional coarse weather context.
- Network: weather, StoreKit/RevenueCat entitlement services, support links, and opted-in diagnostics.
You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Denying an optional permission affects only the related feature.
8. Legal bases, sharing, and transfers
Where GDPR applies, processing is based on contract performance, consent for optional location or diagnostics where required, compliance with legal duties, and legitimate interests such as security and purchase fraud prevention. Data is shared only with service providers needed for the chosen feature, public authorities where legally required, or a successor in a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using adequacy decisions or approved safeguards.
9. Retention and deletion
Local wardrobe data remains until you delete it or the app. Weather results are used for the current planning context and are not stored by HighRoad. Diagnostics follow the retention configured with the diagnostic provider. Purchase and support records are kept only as long as needed for fulfilment, security, tax, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Email privacy@highroadsoftware.com for deletion of HighRoad-held support or direct fulfilment records; some financial records cannot be erased before mandatory retention ends.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us at the address above. EEA users may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or their local supervisory authority.
11. Children and security
DressGenius is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required locally. We use platform protections, app sandboxing, least-privilege permissions, and access controls, but no storage or transmission method is risk-free. Protect your device and backups with a passcode and current software.
12. Changes and contact
We will update the date above and provide additional notice where law requires it. App Store privacy answers and in-app disclosures must be updated before a release adds a new data flow. Questions: privacy@highroadsoftware.com.
